Insight brings those pieces together, helping you understand not only what you're seeing, but why — so you can move forward with greater clarity, confidence and direction.

IT STARTS WITH YOUR STORY
Every family's journey is different, and every child deserves to be understood
in the context of their own experiences.
You can self-refer or be referred by a health professional, educator or other service. You'll then complete a comprehensive questionnaire and share any relevant reports, school information or previous assessments. This gives us the opportunity to begin understanding your child before we even meet.
FINDING THE RIGHT PATH
Every referral is personally reviewed to ensure Insight is the right fit for your
child and family.
Together, we'll determine the service that best matches your needs - whether that's a comprehensive assessment, a focused consultation, collaboration with your child's school, or another tailored service. Every journey with Insight is different because every child is different.
UNDERSTANDING YOUR CHILD
Every child is unique, which means there is no one-size-fits-all approach.
We bring together information from the people who know your child best. This may include remote consultations with parents, collaboration with educators and other professionals, remote observations and reviews of previous reports. Where appropriate, additional assessment tools may also be used.
By bringing together insights from the people who know your child best, we begin developing a deep understanding of their strengths, challenges and unique way of experiencing the world.
CREATING CLARITY
This is where Insight is different.
By now, we've gathered information from a range of sources. This is where we begin making sense of it all. Rather than viewing each challenge in isolation, we look for the patterns, relationships and underlying factors that help explain your child's experiences. We consider the whole child - their development, nervous system, sensory processing, thinking, emotions, relationships and environment - to understand not just what is happening, but why.
A SHARED UNDERSTANDING
Once we've brought all of the pieces together, you'll receive a comprehensive report that clearly explains our findings in meaningful, easy-to-understand language.
More than simply summarising information, your report helps create a shared understanding of your child's strengths, challenges and unique way of experiencing the world. It provides practical, individualised recommendations and a clear foundation for conversations with your family, educators and other professionals, ensuring everyone is working towards the same goals with the same understanding.
MOVING FORWARD WITH CONFIDENCE
Once you've had the opportunity to read your report, we'll meet to talk through it together.
This is your opportunity to ask questions, explore the findings in greater depth, and ensure you feel confident in both your understanding and the recommendations. Together, we'll discuss practical next steps and how best to support your child moving forward.
